Hello wonderful poets!
This is my first concert ever. Enter it!
Here's the low-down of options:
*I want you to write a poem that is inspired by the above picture. It was taken by me. I love photography and also do that when I'm not writing poems. =)
*I want you to give me song lyrics. I also write lyrics and am teaching myself guitar right now.
*I want hopeful, happy, christian, or love poems. No erotica or sensual stuff.
*I want poems about music. Performing it, a concert, the power it has.....
DA RULES!
1. No cussing, bashing other poets or religion, or any depressing/dark/suicidal poems.
2. If it is a picture inspired poem, please tell me which one in your author notes. I want to be able to fully conncet the magic of your poem with my photo.
3. Have fun!!! If you don't win an award, you are still a great poet. KEEP WRITING. Never stop. =)

The winner was a poem that touched me soo much. It was about music and love. It was just beautiful imagery and everything! You should all read it.
The second winner was "So Close" and so close to winning! If I could have a tie for first, I would have, but I can't. Third was also a close runner up. And the fourth same. Great poems! I really like hosting these! I just won gold on a contest, so I might be hosting another one soon! Thank you all soo much, and if you can, come back and read the finalists, and all of the enteries!
