- Final notes: those of you who know me, know how I always look for hope and healing in poetry. I do not deny there is a dark side, but prefer to be uplifted rather than drug down. I did not remove poems that I felt do not belong in my contests, for I take it that the entrants know little of me , my writing, and my contests.
