Ok, this is rather weird, and is probably gunna turn all lovey dovey.
Anyhoot! I want poems that focus on being far apart from a loved one, or a friend, or whatever you can think of. Basically, dedications or whatever you feel like, concerning someone you miss, or can't wait to see again.
The rules:
1. Make it a poem, not a story. This isn't StoryWrite, no matter how much you may want it to be.
2. Keep the length reasonable. I don't want to read poems a mile long, but then, I don't want anything two words long either.
3. Foul language(don't know why there'd be any) is to be kept to a minimum, as is any other adult content. If it's going to have adult tones, then set the category as such.
4. All entries will be commented on, no matter what.
5. If you break any rules, you will be DQ'ed without a second thought. I mean business.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on May 15, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 75, Bronze: 25
- Final notes: There were a lot of exceptional entries, and it was hard to choose the three finalists, but it had to be done. For those of you I haven't commented, I am truly sorry, but circumstances stopped me from having adequate time. However, I will comment each and every poem, as promised. You won't go uncommented, never fear.
Thanks to everyone for entering, and I hope you enjoyed the contest.
