Hello fellow poets! Tearz and I (Frogz) are back with yet another contest. The word prompt contests always seem to draw such diverse perspective of interpretation so here is another word prompt for you to draw upon. Let the ink spill where it may. Dazzle us with your brilliance or out of the box thinking. Please keep your entries pertaining to the word.
Prewrites will be open if you have something that fits the word fine... use it, but please don't just dump anything in for the heck of it. If it is not appropriate for the contest it will be remove pronto! Prewrites will be closed at our discretion.
Your word is....
Scintillating.... (sparkling, flashing, also witty, clever, brilliant, effervescent, lively)
You may use the word in your piece if you like but it is not neccessary just make sure the piece pertains to the word.
Free verse or rhyme is fine. Show us some metaphor, imagery, emotion!
Usual rules apply
No bashing,
no erotica
no sticky caps
etc... you know the drill by now!
Rewards will be:
Gold-400 pts
Silver-200 pts
Bronze-100 pts
Take your time and show us your talent! We look forward to reading and enjoying your entries!
