~Help Me Celebrate 600+~

 

I have just managed to achieve over 600 trophies which makes me really happy, as I must be doing something right, as only been here 22 1/2 months. But on any account, I want to celebrate this occasion with some options. Though, rules are always in order.

Rules::-

1. Prewrites allowed if related to an option on the list.

2. Please check spelling and grammar.

3. Legible backgrounds - no green on blue, orange on white etc.

4. Label entries correctly.

5. No drunk monkey's playing the fandango on the triangle.

6. Please put option number in Authors Notes box please.

7. Ask if have any questions and have fun!

Okay now for the options. YES! I have given you a LARGE amount of options, because you guys ROCK! Plus, it's a large number of mine.

Options::-

1) Write a poem about being lonely/in solitude.
2) Write a poem about someone promising you they would always love you and be there, but then they turn against you.

3) Write about the colour black.

4) The biggest heartbreak in your life.

5) Use these words in your poem: answer, conquest, frown, flicker, bemuse, tease, conquer.

6) The wort experience of your life.

7) Quote: "It's not about the money.. Oh wait, yes it is."
8) Smiles without faces - from Alice in Wonderland, role with it.
9) Pussycats. Your own, or a pussycat in general.

10) 4 lined poem about any topic, just make it good.

11) Your title must be: Pina Coladas
12) About that special person, you know them.
13) Friday the 13th

14) "At the end of the day there's nothing to do and all to say, or all to say and nothing to do, one or the other."
15) Smallville - superman the early years. 50 points for writing anything about this, good or bad! I just love Smallville at the moment. Lex is hot!
16) Write to you 10 years ago. What would you say to them? Maybe give advice to them, maybe ask them to change their choices? Whatever it is, write to them. Poetry, prose or story form.
17) a peom begining with the opening lines: you'll never make me one of you.
18) Make a kids programme 'adult' based or an adult programme more 'children's based. Like a porno teletubbies or a jackass for kids.
19) "The course of true love never did run smooth" - William Shakespeare.

20) Base your poem around Shakespeare's quotes, sonnets or plays, in any way. But please specify in authors notes which play/poem/quote you gained inspiraton from.
21) please write a poem in the rhyme scheme: abbc dedea, deabca, abacd.
22) Personify one of the following animals: a household cat, a lion, a dog, a piece of paper, a heart OR a wall.

23) Enter a poem with your favourite quote and gain inspiration from it, or from any quote you enjoy.

24) Same as 23 but with a picture (any you desire, though label correctly).
25) Write about your starsign? Are the traits your starsign goes with, really similar to your traits?

26) The darkest poem you can write, truly make me feel... dank and horrible.

27) Scare me, horrify me, terrify me. If you can do this, you will truly win Gold, as it's hard to do in poetic form. REALLY THRILL ME.

28) What does love mean to you? Define love in less than 25 lines.

29) The freakiest/scariest/weirdest thing that ever happened to you.

30) Write your own lyrics on any suggest or genre.
31) What would your pefect day be? What would happen, who would be in it?
32) Another one bites the dust. Gain inspiration from the song, title or expression.

33) You were the friend who waited for me to love you, though it seems it never came, but what you never realised is, I always felt the same.
34) Read one of my poems and answer it back... Put which poem you are responding to in your authors comments box.

35) Angels. What is your definition of an angel? What does one look like, what do they really do?
36) Same as #35, but instead of an angel, a demon/devil.
37) Write your own theme song to a show/film. It could be any, but mention what the film/tv programme is in your AN so I can compare them.
38) Write a 6 lined poem with syllable count: 3, 5, 5, 4, 6, 6, 4 about any subject you like.
39) What do you wish for most in the world? Write about it. It could be anything, cure for the common cold, that one person you love, lots of money, a new life away from where you are now... anything. It doesn't even have to be realistic, it just has to be your true desire.
40) Personify one [or all] of the seven deadly sins. Name which one you have chosen in AN.
41) When Doves Cry - this is your title... Write on it.
42) Write a poem in exactly 34 words, about someone you love...

43) Write a 13 lined poem about something dark.

44) Stars, planets, consolations - give me poems of the sky.

45) Prose. Give me a beautiful piece of prose, any topic.

46) Write a poem with syllable count 2, 4, 8, 1, 5, 9.
47) Some people believe in miracles, to save their saddened souls. Some people believe in luck, to help them keep control. Some people believe in everything happens for a reason to keep their hurt at bay, but I believe in you in every single way. - x Empathic Rose x
48) Eyes. Give me something, anything about the eyes. Looking into someones eyes, what you can tell when looking into someones eyes, the colours of peoples eyes, anything.

49) Write me a lullaby, that'll soothe and send me to sleep (or a baby, anyway).
50) Write a song to your life story, the theme tune if you will, or one of the main songs of your life. As in, write the lyrics that would go along to your life if it were made into a film.
51) I love cats... They mean so much to me, so write something, anything about a cat in particular, especially a pet cat.
52) Write about the relationship between love and hate. Whether it be metaphorical, or whether it be a real 'relationship' they had. Give me something different, here.
53) Write a poem involving the world love in at least 5 different languages than English, tell me what they are in your authors notes.
54) The worst lie ever told to you, that hurt you the most.
55) A limerick! I love the things, write me one, or several!

56) Write about your favourite character in a book coming to life and what would happen if they came into our world!

57) Write a poem with the same title as a book or film. Content doesn't have to be related to the book or film, unless of course you want it to.

58) Sit where you are without talking or typing for 30 seconds. What can you hear? Write a poem about what you hear and feel, during this 30 second silence.
59) Dreams. Write about a dream you have had, or a nightmare. If you like, I can try and interpret it, just let me know if you would like that in your AN.
60) Write a poem to or about me! Yeah I know vain, but trust me it's hard coming up with 60 options for a contest, though some time in the near future I am going to have a 100 optioned contest, how's that for starters?

ENTER AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE AND POINTS WILL BE ADDED.

~ Be original.

~ Truly bring the prompt alive.

~ Creativity is a must.

~ Metaphor/Adjectives and pronouns are a plus, but don't overdo them.

~ Nothing too long, or boredom will be likely, unless the entry is magnificent (it has been done before)

    CONGRATULATIONS

    ON THE 600 TROPHY MARK, It really is quite an accomplishment. Takes allot of writing just to write 600 poems, let alone win 600 trophies!! My hats off to you

    So many options and good ones too Have to decide which of the 15 I am trying to decide on, lol
