Ok, My favorite poems are short ones with a lot of meaning and depth, or a twist or contradiction at the end. In this contest, I want you to write me a short poem that is powerful. It can be on any topic:
Emotions,
nature,
death
grieving
loss,
love,
personal
spiritual...you get the idea.
Make sure the poem has substance. Don't force it. let it flow.
Just make sure it's short...get your point across with less words (I don't like wasted words)
Please think outside the box
I want NO more than 10-12 lines
It does not have to rhyme
No WaCkY cApS!
It can be about anything
prewrites are welcomed (though only one poem per person may be submitted)
It can be a haiku, diamante, a little cuplet...or freewrite Whatever
