I’m sure it’s not the first time this has occurred to someone but I haven’t been around long enough to see it all… (at least not at All Poetry LOL).
So here’s the idea…
Men write as women
Women write as men
and when it’s done…
Comment on each other… How well did he/she capture the other gender’s feelings and point of view.
The fine print:
• Pick any subject you'd like... always wanted to have baby (Ewwww), go ahead! Always thought it better to give than receive - nows your big chance.
• Please limit your poems to 50 lines or less… OK I’m not a stickler for limits so if it takes a bit more, I’ll understand.
• I would prefer you didn’t use (but won’t prohibit) sticky caps.
• Free verse, rhyme, form, acrostic… whatever you’d like. Good work is good work no matter the style.
• Please, if you’re going to go down adult roads, label it as such. No sense educating others before their time (LOL).
• Yes, spelling and grammar do count although if you really have to stretch for a rhyme, I’ll understand. Been there myself (LOL).
• Last rule: Have fun, laugh, enjoy.
I look forward to see what your fertile minds come up with and I will gladly – willingly even – add HM’s .
On your mark, get set – implement the last rule!

- Final notes: I'm ending this a few hours early since there seems to be no additional interest. While not as many as I hoped, they were all quality and I had a hard time (no pun intended) picking any one of them as better than another.
