Ok, so this is my first contest, but i didn't want to host a contest until i had something Really worth while, and well, now i do.
I'm Pregnant.
and i feel that's a damn good reason for a contest.
Just in case you want a little back ground info to help you out, i'm 20, (i'll be 21 in june) and about 6 or 7 weeks along, It's my first pregnancy, i'm unmarried, and i haven't told Anyone except my best friend that i'm Pregnant, not my mom, not even the father! (oops!)
and because guidelines are nice, here are some options:
A: If you're a mother yourself, give some advice, on pregnancy or childrearing.
2: Put yourself in my shoes, and write a poem telling someone you're pregnant, either Mom or Dad, or the father, or whatnot.
C: Imagine your significant other just told you they were pregnant; what would be your first reaction?
4: Write, about the joys and difficulties of being pregnant and having a baby.
E: I'm kind of nervous and, i'll be honest, a little embarrassed and scared, write something reassuring.
Or, Just for fun,
6: Write from the point of view of the fetus, If you believe they can hear people talking or what-have-you, what do they hear, are they bored? but don't write in 3rd person, you Are the baby.
So those are your options, i think i've about covered it all, but if i've missed an option you'd like to write about, just message me with the general idea of it, and i'll see what i can do.
Or if you've got any questions, about anything, just send 'em my way.
RULES:
1. Put the option you picked in the comment box
2. I've got nothing against foul language, as long as it fits.
3. Nothing overly religious. Like, if you want to mention "God" or whatever, thats ok, but don't let that be the main subject, and please, don't be preachy.
4. Any style is fine, it doesn't have to rhyme, but it can if you want, do whatever you do best.
5. And Probably most important! SPELL CHECK!!! I am a Grammar NAZI! Use Spell Check, and good grammar. Please!
6. AnD dOn'T tYpE LiKe ThIs. (i've never seen anyone actually do that, but i've seen enough warnings on it to be worried. please, don't do it.)
7. And no slang... no "lol" or "omg" or whatever. if it's not a real word.. i don't want it.
8. Thanks
Have Fun!
