HEY, HOW COME - WHO'S DUMB?
Our species stood up on two legs, it did.
And made stone tools and then invented steel.
We made the motor bike and screw-top lid
(but that was after we'd thought of the wheel).
We made the safety pin and super jet,
The cinema, the yo-yo and ice cream,
The ball pen, baseball cap and internet
And loads of clever gadgets in between.
Well, anyway, we're SMART - so don't it trouble ya
How we, the smartest species here today,
Can choose to give to some dumb chimp like Dubbya
The means to blow the whole damn lot away?
