I encourage writers that usually do not write form poetry to enter the contest, as I am doing easier forms and will go to to more difficult ones greadually.

 

Epitaph


An epitaph is a brief poem normally one verse inscribed on a tombstone, praising a deceased person, usually with rhyming lines. It is a fairly easy write for even those that do not favor rhyme.



Mother a loving soul
while here on earth shadowing her children
assuring them of their worth.
Now in the arms of Jesus she rest,
awaiting for us to join her in Heavens nest.

    OK first I want to say thank you all for the laughter these brung me today lol still giggling over them as I try and write this!

    Gold won me over because of the creative words used, If you read it I think you will agree very wonderfully written!

    Silver actually won me over as I could see this on someone stone and it would be beautifully said!

    Bronze hahah, lol poor guy shouda not messed with that snake!

    H.W 1 loved this because of the docs name lololol! U are too much!!!!

    I decided all the writes are worthy of H.w as they all brung me laughter today thank you all for entering the contest.

    I will be doing another easy form tomorrow Gold please remember to pif using the
