I have 5 AP exams coming up in, oh, about 3 weeks. so I figured it would be the perfect time to host a contest.

prose and/or freeverse. plain backgrounds, left align, etc. pretty much anything goes, but please label. and points may increase - I have plenty of them.


suggestions?
metaphor, imagery, emotion, originality. and decent titles can do wonders.

and if you really, really want prompts, look up Anberlin, and write which song inspired you in your author's notes.

    sorry it took so long to judge. I had a lot of amazing entries and actually, this was pretty hard to judge.

    I chose the winners based on which poems struck me the most. but everyone did very well.

      haha my school is just insane. we cram all our AP credits into 9th and 10th grade, especially 10th.
