Hello, and welcome to my... 5th contest.
If any of y'all know me already, you'd also know I am a dark writer. What you probably don't know is that my birthday is the 22nd of this horrific month of April.
Therefore, I'm hosting a dark poetry contest, this time with options.
[More points will be added if deserved]
Option 1
give me cutting, self abuse, or any other form of self mutilation. Try not to use too many cliches, but there are so many poems out there already, it's hard to find a wholly new idea. I know that. Tell me why you hurt yourself and how it makes you feel in some form of orginality.
Option 2
Abuse from another source, be it family, friends or society. I do NOT want sappy poems on how he hits you but still loves you and will change blah blah, no. Make it an angry confession of hate.
Option 3
Write me a suicide note. You don't have to address it in normal note form but write to who/what pushed you over the edge for the last time.
Option 4
Write me a spiteful love letter. Do what you want with this option, its open to basically everything.
Option 5
Write me a dark/angsty song. Once again, free range.
Option 6
Somehow twist a birthday song to make it dark and cruel. I'm sure someone creative could have fun with that.
If you have a PW that suits the prompt EXACTLY message me about it, I might open it up if I don't get enough entries.
Post as many times as you want, do whichever options as much as you want.

-Please use your spell check. None of us are perfect, In fact there's probably errors in what I just wrote that I will go back to change after writing this.
If too many words are spelled wrong, it takes away from the poem.
-Do what you want with punctuation. I cannot put a limit on how much or how little you use, just make it flow like you want it to.
I don't know how harsh my criticism is, but If I don't feel it, I will tell you.
Anything new will be added to the bottom of this wonderful post.

- Final notes: First off, I wanted to apologize for the delay. Birthday torture tactics have kept me from my computer.
Thank you to everyone who entered. I must say I enjoyed every poem that you fine authors took the time to write. It did indeed cheer me up, for whatever sick reason, to read these. Thank you writers for my best birthday pressent this year, and congrats to the trophy winners. If I had more points, I would have given them all.

But what is horrific about April? (Sure, Eliot called it the "cruellest month" - but that does not necessarily make it so!)
