I really appreciate your criticism on my poem!
I felt that "blackness" and "dusty mirror" were a bit cliche, as well, but I couldn't find the right words to replace them...
I went back through and tweaked those two words, replaced "blackness" and "dusty" with "ideas" and "rusty"
to add to the irony of the piece...
I hope you like my short revisions, and if you can think of anything else to help me make my good poem great, I'd really appreciate it! -
