If you go to edit, then just hit delete... it will give you back the points you spent for the contest.

if there are people entered in your contest, you'll have to remove them first.

    The statistics for repeat abortions.

The statistics for repeat abortions more than two are at 50%. This is making a lie out of the pro-choice statement because many women are using abortion as a form of birth control. Look it up people.

I think I'll enter something, though I'm staunchly pro-choice and all. It might be fun to write from an opposing view. Bookmarked.

I'm not so great at rhyming, so whether I will enter or not is debatable, but I completely agree with you and I think the contest is a good idea. Hope you have a lot of good entries.

well, I don't rhyme (not formatically at least) and I'm pro-choice, so this isn't the contest for me. I'm a college student working to become a special investigator for child Protective Services. Some people don't need to have children.

    Adopt is a great thing.

I don't think abortion should be labeled as bad because it depends on the circumstances surrounding the conception, but I would rather have a fetus killed in seconds than have a baby or child be slowly neglected.

of course, the word fetus merely means baby... there are plenty of people out there who would love to adopt and love and unwanted child. The only difference between a doctor facing prison or simply being 'pro choice' are the minutes before and after birth.

its really none of any of our buissness what a woman chooses to do with her own body and considering the fact that having a child changes a womans life completely, i think that she probably has every right to make that choice regardless of what any of your opinions about the subject are.

Vincentspider - The unborn child is not simply a part of a womans body, it is a fragile life that needs protection. Regarding the change to her life , she does not have to keep the child but could let it be adopted. That way she has accepted responsibility for having been careless, and not just decided to destroy an innocent.

Glad you are hosting this...I found a pro-choice contest the other night and got VERY upset. Thanks for hosting this and for not bashing others who disagree. I love how everything is permissable that has to do with "personal choices," but God forbid anyone disagree....grrr...sorry...had a "soap box" moment! Good luck with the competition!!
