For me, much has happened in the last few months, and I want a lovely feeling of 'found', even though all seems lost.
There are some lovely places out there and I want to know if there is a place on earth that one could leave this planet, a peaceful death I suppose. There shouldn't be any anxiety or woe.
So, picture this: You have just a short time to live, and you hear of a nice place to grace that heavenly path. There must be a place somewhere on this earth that resembles paradise. I want to go, so help me please.
1.) Put that place name in a metaphor title, (like below.)
2.) Poem should be between 24-30 lines
3.) Please give it a romantic feel
4.) It should have a spiritual thought.
5.) You have to be alone there.
6.) Make death feel like a wonderful moment.
7.) I shall erase poetry that is lacking in standard.
8.) You mustn't die in someone's arms.
So, if you think of Niagra Falls, put a metaphor for a title like, "Death from Niagra's Asking".
If you impress me enough to win gold, you do realise that this will be my intended destination, and I have promised myself I shall go.
Lots of points, so go for it!
Best of Luck.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on April 19, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 1000, Silver: 500, Bronze: 250, Honorable mention: 20 people
- Final notes: I would say, that they lacked a little something, but I can't take away the fact that you made the effort. I almost entered one for fun myself, but sadly, my brainblock persists, therefore, I have to contently favour that which, like a brick wall of thought at the moment reminds me of home, I'd rather die in my backyard than even Hawaii or the Alps. Also, I can choose to die whenever I wish. Bye
- To judge this contest, you need to have at least as many finalists as you have rewards. You have 4 awards but only 3 finalists.
