Again, this contest is for rhyming poetry only...you pick the subject and presentation.
No Prewrites
No chatspeak,cutting or suicide.
One entry per poet.

1st Place 400 points and a gold trophy
2nd place 200 points and a silver trophy
3rd place 10 points and a bronze trophy
3 Honorable Mentions at 30 points each

From this contest 10 of you will move on to the third and final round. Good luck and may the rhyming begin

  • Final notes:
    Even though only 15 of the 20 poets I moved on to this round chose to participate I was really impressed with the quality of those who did enter and felt nearly every poem entered would have placed in another contest. That being said, know that in no way was the judging of this contest easy or a task I took lightly. As soon as I finish judging and your screen names come up I will notify everyone of the 10 poets moving on to stage 3. Congratulations to those poets taking trophies and those moving on and thank you all for the wonderful entries
