As The Music Plays & Stops

Hello Everyone,

 

Most of us have favorite songs.

 

What is yours ?

 

Here is what I want

 

1. A Poem inspired from your favorite song

 

Or if you don't have a favorite song then maybe you can do this choice

 

2. A poem inspired from how you feel when a certain song is done playing

 

In your notes you MUST

 

Put what choice you picked

 

Put what song inspires you and please link me to the lyrics.

Try and find it on you tube and link me the video so I can listen.

That goes with both choices.

 

Now for the rules :

 

1. Prizes - silver - 200 - bronze - 100 one honorable mention

2. If I don't get more then 15 poems (within a couple of weeks of it being opened ) the contest is deleted and everyone will get 10 points for trying if that happens.

3.  Please keep love poems simple. Other then that I don't care what you write about but everything must be put in the right section.

4. No more then 35 lines please.

5. Any form is fine.

6. No prewrites

7. One write per person.

8. All Site Rules Apply.

9. You can reserve but the poem must be complete within 24 hours.

 

This will be closed whenever there are enough poems put in so it could take up to two weeks or less then two weeks.

 

If you don't put what song inspires you then you won't win.

 

Tips and hints :

I like all kinds of music even back in the 60's.

I don't like busy backgrounds. I'm not stopping you from putting one there but if I have to highlight or hide the background...well that just means it might not win.

I like poems that I can understand!!
