This contest invites Allyce May; Sue Cardwell; Gwenevere; Epistomolus; Peteskid; Frisky Pam; aslanlight; Suetonius; sunny day; Jal Pari; lonely19girl and Mairi Bheag.

Your job:Enter a prewritten or new poem on the subject of Nature, Human Nature or Belief in a Faith or some Cause. Lines in any genre of poetry and about 24 lines or so give or take 6 lines. You may enter a suite which fit this length.

This will not be anonymous as I need to check on who is still "lagging". It would be wonderful if all entered. Only gold is given so far. But we are prepared to give silver, bronze, HM's and finalists if the calibre is high!

  • Final notes:

Wow. This is truly an enlightening contest. We have some wonderful poets among us as evidenced by the entries here.

If you haven't read each other's work, I highly recommend that you do.

Sunny Day offers a nice Trijan Refrain so well done to the form it makes you smile.

And I will take a moment to direct you to Pinpoint - Part Two by Allyce May. If you do have a moment I highly recommend reading Pinpoint first and then Pinpoint Two.

You can find it at this link:

And with that said, we announce our winners.

    GOLD - small voice

    SILVER - Humanfestation

    Congratulations to our top four!

This could become an end-of-month tradition.

It's a good job Jeff spotted this, or I would never have known I was there. Ron, I haven't even signed on the dotted line yet!

I'll see what I can do - not very nature-ish, but I'm sure I'll think of something
