A Dark Forest Tale

This is really pretty simple - I want a story about a forest, a fantasy! Preferably, but not necessarily, dark.

There are no rules, just use your best judgment. I reserve the right to DQ any poem that I feel violates rules of common sense or that is just generally bad (lots of spelling/grammatical errors) with NO explanation. Don't enter if you don't like it.
