It's Dark in the Air

Ever have a nightmare about dying? Dreams that destroy all you live for and when you wake they linger on, reminding you how easily it all can be taken away.

How easily was it taken from you? Do you still fight to hold on? Why?

Write me your fight to hold on, or your dream thats still taking away who you are. Tell me what the darkness hordes.

I don't care how long or short the poem is, I just want feeling bleeding from every word.

Hope some more people will get around to writing a poem for this contest, it seems worth it. Most poets on here seem kind of lazy and won't challenge themselves, and just want to enter prewrites. hah. thanks for inspiring me, and challenging me. It took me forever to find a good contest (at least one with something good to write about).
