Hope

In times where everything is shrouded in shadows, there always will be that one object that emits light. That one object, is hope.

Sometimes, that shining thing is there, but we just can't see it. I want you to write me a poem either guiding people to find it, crying out about how it's not in your grasp or searching for it.

There is only first place because I'm a poor poor stingy judge. The first place award will be for 300 gold.

Tips:

I only like rhyming if it is clever

Poem length doesn't matter, but if it's short, it better be good =]

Rules:

nO sTICKY cAPS, BECAUSE i DON'T LIKE THEM

No flaming (insulting) others' works of art

It's not mandatory, but it's always nice to see people commenting on other poems in the contest.

Cursing is fine

There can be no poems about Racism. This doesn't mean that you can't put racism as one of the problems in the poem, it means that you can't be all "Aw man, this one race is going to take over the world and there is no hope for us and blah blah blah".

Any questions? PM me! =] Enjoy!

Thank you all for participating in my contest. =]

It was a tough decision, and I wish I could reward more then one person, but sadly, I am a poor goldless judge and only had about 300 gold at the time. Sorry =[

I was delighted by your poetry, it was all quite lovely.

I hope you will all participate in my contests in the future. =]
