Have you ever written something of which you were immensely proud, that you felt was "gold-worthy," only to find it not recognized by a contest judge either because of a difference in taste, or  because of an abundance of other great entries in that same contest?

If so, here's your chance to give your piece another go! Enter that poem into this contest.  I WANT TO ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR WORK!! Any piece, any style, that you feel was gold worthy but didn't win the gold, will fit this contest.

NOTE: The previous contest must STILL BE LISTED on the poem page. If not, your poem can not be considered for a trophy for this one.

I AM EXPECTING THIS TO BE A VERY DIFFICULT CONTEST TO JUDGE, since you all are on my favorites list. And, most of you know that I tend to be slow to judge anyway, so please be patient with me while I keep my head from spinning in all the great writes!

Please comment on at least two other poems in the contest as a kind gesture to your fellow poets.

    As I suspected, this was terribly difficult to judge. I thank you all for sharing your talent and your hearts with me.

    My goal with this contest was to acknowledge some fine poems that had not yet received gold, and I wish I could have awarded top prize to more than just one, but then, that wouldn't be top prize would it??

    With so many fine poems from which to choose, I had to use how each one connected with me as the distinguishing factor. So many were truly excellent!

    As I said - I don't think any of my pieces ever deserved Gold.
    But the one I entered I thought would get at least an HM
    Thats the best you'll get from me
