Alright so since my first contest was a blast, I've decided to host another!! Unfortunately this one doesn't seem to have as much of a take-off as I would prefer, and so I really hope to get some more entries soon!! I know there's gotta be more than nine poems for this topic- don't be shy!! =P Alors... I may have to take away the honorable mentions if I don't get any other posts to this contest. *tear* If I get more entries I'll be sure to have honorable mentions along with the rewards!! Thanks!!
In this contest I want to read creative writes on attraction between beautiful and ugly, good and evil, givers and takers, loud and soft-spoken, popular and outcast, rich and poor, etc... Basically the whole scenario of how opposites attract!! I want emotion and imagery- I want to be struck with awe!! Please let me know if anything in particular inspired your poetry and pictures are allowed.
~The poems can rhyme, but rhyming is not neccesary...
~Please limit the useage of curse words and exotica- in other words, use it with good taste.
~I LOVE punctuation and correct grammer, so please use it!! (Unless it interferes with the style of the write, and then I may be open-minded.)
~Prewrites are allowed, though I'd rather read newer writes, and more than likely if the piece already has a few winnings then I'm less-likely to choose it as a winner, though I will acknowledge it.
~The length of the writes don't really matter, but I don't want a huge essay-like read unless it keeps my attention all the way through!! (so choose wisely)
In conclusion, I am rewarding the winners with medals and honorable mentions (pending) and I hope to see a lot of poets take part in my contest! Thanks and have fun!! ^_^
