Use Stephanie's art & Wordsworth's quote:
"I chanced to see at break of day~~~
The solitary child" by William Wordsworth {1770-1850}

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on March 22, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 399, Silver: 299, Bronze: 199
  • Final notes:
    More than anything, I hope that this theme has awakened those who entered to the beauty of spending time in nature's solitude. Within her unconditional love, we are truly free to explore ourselves and
    come away feeling more complete. To my winners, you all expressed so much depth of feeling; I could see each of you there in that silent place of serenity. To ALL who
    entered, each write contained an element
    of wonderment and faith...each one reached
    deeper into the image and concept telling
    me that this was more than just a theme
    for you...and that really does make me happy. An extra finalist made the list and
    that poet will receive some award pts, but no green trophy as promised. Thank-you
    very much for making this theme a lovely experience to read and reflect upon. Blue

      Well, I was told great minds think alike! I'm still
      reeling over the fact of our twin themes. Glad to
      know you will be entering your extreme talents. Blue
