Hey everyone! This time around, I am totally entranced with 'The Other Boleyn Girl,' the Tv series 'The Tudors,' and the 'Elizabeth' movies. So, that being said, I want poetry from this time and place, and of these people. Whether it be King Henry VIII, Katharine of Aragon, Mary or Anne Boleyn, Princess or Queen Mary, Princess or Queen Elizabeth, or even George Boleyn, give me a story. As long as it is based upon historical fact, I don't care if it is true. Just give me something amazing about these people and their lives. Take inspiration from the book or movie 'The Other Boleyn Girl,' the TV show 'The Tudors,' the movie series 'Elizabeth,' or anything else dealing with these people. Put your inspiration in your author notes. Enter as much as you want, prewrites not allowed this time. I want a lot of entries. Shock me with brilliance.

The title of your competition is ambiguous... I think some people may take the final word of it as an invitation to write about one of the great characters of that era... MORE himself...

oh wooow this is a brilliant contest! I am also fascinated with the movies "The Other Boleyn Girl" and "Elizabeth" and especially with the tv show "The Tudors". And they give me such intense inspiration.
It's too bad that you're not allowing prewrites.
I have two great poems i wanted to put in the contest. Inspired by Charles Brandon and Margaret Tudor.
Good luck with your contest! -
