Quickie Prewrites #2






I haven't had the time to participate in the quickie contests as I once did. I love to read the nuggets of thought that are contained in these short verses, so I would like you to enter your best quickie from 2008.

Your poem can contain anything from 10 words to 10 lines on any subject. Please chose your favorite and enter one poem.

Please do not enter your poem if you have removed it from the original contest as I want to see how your poems have interpreted the contest prompt.

    Thank you for your entries in this prewrite contest. Several poets did not follow the rules by submitting poems that either were not in a quickie contest or removed from that contest. The types of poetry varied and most of the poems held kernels of wisdom that were a pleasure to read. Peace, Liz
