This is my first contest...so bear with me.
As a lyrics writer, I feel most comfortable judging that type of poetry. So most of my contests i'm able to do will be centered around the genre of Lyrical Poetry.
So give me your best lyrical prose. I prefer emotional darkness, though I do on occasion get a "shiney happy mood bone", I mostly write in the darker realms of emotion. Pain, loss, heartache, depressioin. So give me your best dark lyrical poetry.
I don't have many points but am giving all 3 trophies.
Rules :
No complaints, I like what moves me.
I'm nice so Be nice!
Take NOTHING personally.
Write correctly, no acrostic or wierd cap craziness.
I've been writing for 20+ years so keep it real and professional please.

- Final notes: Thanks everyone so much for the entries. I found the responsibility of having to choose from so many great artists to be very stressful but fun. I loved each and every entry and found none flawed within my crieria. All would have made excellent songs of various genres.

Probably wasn't exactly what you were looking for..but you did say "heartache, loss, depression" all of which I've been dealing with in this poem.. Hope you enjoy even though it's probably not the exact criteria.
