Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on March 16, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 420, Silver: 300, Bronze: 150, Honorable mention: 1 people
- Final notes: Thankyou ALL for the effort and wonderful poems. I have chosen four which stood out, for some simple reason or other.
Gold had everything I liked. Great flow, well used words, an uplifting feel despite the dark content. I think it even rhymed. -ahem- or, simply: I liked it most.
Silver was good. There was something I did not OVERly like the content, though now I couldn't say why. But the flow - the flawless flow of rhythm, really got me going. No, not sussly, pervs. So impressed was I that Bled gets extra points.
Bronze was a lovely read, almost tied with the fourth winner. Just a bit better - though again, I couldn't specify why. Too sleepy, don't you know.
I need to add that I am devestated that few of you bothered to keep to the rules. Truly, I am. Simple things like length prevented beauties like Showering Blood from getting gold, or silver - or even an HM. Think about that, next contest you go to.
And now, bidding a fond farewell, I wish you marvellous, ravenous, gore-filled days...

I posted my poem "A Girl Is Without Her Familiar Today", though it was long, because out of 10 enteries, only 2 were 10 lines or less. so i thgout there were exceptions to the rule. sorry to be a pain in the ass. and if i find something else i'll enter it. in the meantime i have a dying grandmother, another grandmother with alzheimers, dad has leukemia, and my sister's 2 week old is finally comming home after battling pneumonia. so forgive me if i am short/testy or otherwise preoccupied.
