Muses for the masses (options galore)

This is my first contest so I'm going to go all out. There will be several options for you to choose from, all the options are the types of poems that I'm in the mood for. These options are as follows:

1) write a sad love poem about a relationship gone wrong. (no abuse poems)

2) write about oppression, real oppression. (none of this "my parents suck" crap.)

3) write about what it's like to have PTSD. (post traumatic stress disorder)

4) read one of my poems and write one of your own that's inspired by it. (mention which poem you chose in your authors notes)

5) write about fear. Not anxiety, not nervousness, but real, gut-wrenching, heart-stopping terror.

6) write a poem about anger or something that fills you with rage (and make me FEEL IT!)

7) write about despair and grief. Cutting? Death of a loved one? overwhelming angst and hopelessness? go for it.

8) write about walking around alone at night and thinking.

9) write about overcoming adversity. (a positive option? no way!)

10) Listen to "Shout" by tears for Fears (or the disturbed cover) or look up the lyrics and write a poem inspired by that.

11) pick a poem that has been entered into this contest and write another poem inspired by that.

12) the William s. Burroughs option! Take lines or parts of lines from either your own exising poetry or mine and put them together in a whole new work.

Ok, those are your 12 options. Now here are the rules:

1) sticky caps or all caps, don't really care, but please use decent grammer.

2) You can submit a pre-write if you want to.

3) you can submit as may poems as you want to, however, two poems by the same author won't win.

4) Put the option that you chose in the authors notes (though which one you chose will be self explainatory by the work itself, I'd like a context from which to read it.)

5) If you choose to write a work inspired by one of my poems or a poem written by another contestant, state which poem you chose in the authors notes.

6) if you choose the William s. Burroughs option, list which poems you took from.

7)comment on one of my poems. In return, I will leave comments on three of yours (in addition to the poem you've entered). Because of the fact that I can't see who wrote what, the only way I can comment on your other work is if you comment on one of my pieces. For the duration of this contest, anyone who comments on my work gets three comments in return whether or not they are in the contest. This rule is actually optional and only if you'd like more comments. I understand if you wish to remain anonymous.

8) comment on two of the poems entered in the contest.

9) profanity, erotica, violence, etc. are all allowed.

Ok, have fun, go to town, do your thing.

A few people forgot to add authors notes actually. I decided to not count it against anyone for this contest.
