The TITLE contest...show me how clever you are...

I will give you a few titles and you will write me the poem.  This is going to be a very interesting contest in that I am going to have a few poems that may have have the same title.

Please put your author's name in the optional 2-line poem description...

The titles are...

Serpent Rose
Dervish
Gud Finns
Wanton War
Ilia
Wolves of the Wolderlund
The Houses of Greater Faerie
The Dragon at Retal
A Park Bench Glance
Blackbird Fall

If everyone does the same title or picks different ones it doesn't matter. I am just interested to see what comes to your mind...

Basic rules

-no StICky CaPs
-proofread your work, I don't ask for perfection, just effort
-no erotica or profanity
-no line limit, but please no novels.

-no straight prose, though partial prose is quite allowable

You must have fun!

:)

More points on the way as I get them!

Contest is Over

This contest is officially judged and over!!! Thank you for participating! I managed to have enough points to give an award to everyone, which some may not agree with, but hey...my contest, my choice. The Honorable mentions are in no particular order, though there are a few of you who most definitely wrote medal top 3 medal worthy material.

Thank you again and if you have any questions just let me know!

Thanks for the contest, the reading, and the trophy. It was an enjoyable contest and I'm glad for the impetus to work on the piece.
