Needles and Pins

Needles and Pins are your prompt.

Think outside the box

No pedestrian rhyme.

No purple prose.

Show- don't tell.

Imagery and metaphor are what I look for, so if you enter something without imagery and metaphor, you will have no chance of winning.

Pedestrian rhyme is rhyme that is unmetered or unimabinative, such as night/light/bright or moon/spoon/June.

Purple prose is writing that is so flowery that it pulls attention away from its own message. It can also be writing that looks like it was spit up by a thesaurus.
