I have had a lot of BS going on here lately. Some good news and even more bad news. I want poetry that makes me feel. I have set several different possibilities and I hope to get plenty of entries for each. I will add more points to this contest as I aquire tham. Thanks everyone and Good Luck.
Choices to write about:
1) My sister just had a baby girl. Write something for the baby.
2) Write something on the joys and / or heartaches of being a parent.
3) One of my best friends passed away last week and I really need to make the pain go away. Write something about loss.
4) Make me laugh. I need to smile.
5) Anything goes. just make me feel.
Here are my simple rules:
1) PlEaSe NoNe Of ThIs.
2) Please make sure that the writing does niot blend into the background. I get migraines from reading through squinty eyes.
3) Some cursing is fine as long as it is not the entire reading.
4) I can read any kind of poetry and enjoy all types. So have fun and write from your heart.
You don't have to tell me which one you are writing about. Just be yourselves and I will enjoy it. I will comment on every entry. Thanks.
