CRITERIA:
Everyone has someone in their lives that has been influential to them.
For this contest we are looking for poems about those people
Whether they be your mother, father, sister, brother, teachers, preachers, mentors, grandparents, or even your children they have made a difference in your life.

RULES:
1. No erotica or adult only type poems.
This contest is for all ages - so those who are under the age of 18 years and those who prefer to not view adult poetry need to be able to read the entries also.
2. No foul language.
3. No sTiCkY cApS or chat lingo
4. One entry per person - If you collaborate, the other poet must be a new [March] member also.
5. Entries must be 20 - 30 lines or less.

Please make sure to check back from time to time after you submit your entry. There may be a notice of corrections or editing that may need to be done. It would be a shame if you are disqualified because you didn't do this.

• Does this meet closely with the requirements of the contest?
• Did you go over the poem and check for any grammatical or typographical errors?

I don't understand...
I just joined today, and it is still March 31, 2008 and I am unable to submit a poem. Because I joined on the cutoff date, will I be eligable to join April's contest?
