I want dark, and sad. I want hopelessness and solitude. I want inadequacy. I want to feel.
I do not want abuse, cutting, suicide, lost love, heartbreak, or teenage drama.
Think outside the box, but keep it dark.
Just give me emotion that isn't to do with the common dark genres.
Make me feel the worthlessness. Bring it out in the open and express.
Do not describe the picture, I can see it. Give me emotions; give me her thoughts.
I don't want long poems.
No more than 25 lines, and please don't make the lines a mile long.
First come first serve.
If you are going to reserve, you'd better make sure your poem is finished is less than ten hours after you reserve your spot. If not, I will remove it and give the spot to someone else.
Failure to abide by the guidelines of this contest will result in disqualification without warning.
If you use the picture in your entry, be sure to indicate that it is not your own work in your Author's Notes. I do not know the artist, but they deserve at least that courtesy.
