Answer my questions

this is not your usual contest. I want in essay format the answer to these two questions. Limit on words 200 for each question.

Question #1 - If you were to die tonight, do you know if you would go to Heaven and back up your answer with a reason why they should or shouldn't let you pass the Pearly Gates into Heaven.

Question #2 - If we Christians are supposed to be tolerent to every religion and belief and life style, why are the same people who demand this intolerent of us if they encourage tolerence? (be careful, very careful - I am not tolerent of Christ bashers - not at all - I will DQ you in a NY minute)

If I don't get at least 15 entries I am going to close the contest.

Rules
NO bashing Christianity - for your own protection - God is not mocked - I think we all know the difference between discussing and blaspheming
no erotica (you would be surprised)

Your names will not be hidden

PS - my husband is a Pastor and we have a church - we have a prayer meeting every week - any prayer requests - send them my way and our church will pray for your needs.

    I love the idea, buuuut

Christians aren't tolerant of other beliefs and lifestyles. Just read Leviticus. Christians persecute homosexuals. I am gay...Do I possess the right to bash Christians, as they bash homosexuals? It is the great paradox of Christianity: "Preach tolerance" You see, Christians don't preach tolerance, because behind the curtain they are persecuting people who aren't wealthy, male Christians. Thus the footfall echoes in the memory. We all remember the era of Bloody Mary. Who can forget it. Protestants were burned. Homosexuals were burned. I'm sure people as simple as nihilists were burned---simply because they denounce God.

Now, I am certainly not trying to bash God, I am not trying to disturb or upset you. All I am doing is pointing out the paradox of equilibrium. If one group is supposed to be tolerant, isn't the other group? Or, is this a system in which one group demands respect while the other is slaughtered.

Good luck with this contest. I hope you get the entries you are looking for.

I do apologize if I upset you. I just find this paradox ironic...and frankly...amusing.

    Farewell.

Wonderful contest that will be more . . . than a contest as we all know.

I pray that there will be a rich harvest from this seed.

I like this! I doubt I'll have time to enter, but I will try. I'm about to have a baby, so the time thing is really being stretched, because I'm pretty busy & if I don't have the baby by Thursday (to those who've read my profile, my apologies: 2/28 is the date they'll induce me), I'm getting induced.

Carly, all I ask is that you pray for my delivery to be as smooth & quick & painless as possible. I'm a wimp when it comes to pain. I'm also a single parent (soon to be, that is). If you have questions about the baby or my pregnancy, please take the time to read my profile before you ask me...it may already be answered in there.

    Thank you,
    ~SunfloweRose

Sorry I missed this one. I would love to write for number one. So many people are stuck in the works mode. It is not our works that saves us...for we are saved by grace through faith. We then take that faith and let it produce good works; for faith without works is dead.
