I think this contest is pretty simple.
I want poetry that
A: Tells a story
and
B: Has a deeper meaning
I don't want you to tell me what your deeper meaning is unless I ask. If it is already revealed in in the poem, that is fine.
I don't care how you write it.
I don't care what you write about.
It must simply follow A and B.
If you have a prewrite that fits these guidelines, you may enter it.
One poem per person. Make it your best.
The contest will remain open until March 5, unless it reaches a total of thirty entries. If it is under 10 entries by this date, it will be extended one week.
I will critique every entry.
I will not require censorship, nor will I forbid any word or topic. I believe in free speech, worldwide.
I will not reward points for second or third. I will not list any honorable mentions.
Silver and bronze trophies will still be rewarded.
300 points will be rewarded to the Gold.
