There is a contest I recently made a comment to. It called for deep and great entries, so of course that left me out(lol). I can go deep, but I can't be great! However, I responded with the below seven words. I thought they could be viewed as deep inaccordancewith the paintings at hand. This will not be a picture contest, but one where you take my statement and let it inspire you. Free reign is given in this contest as to how you wish to write. The only restriction is that it has to be a poem of some type and not a story in this one.
"the artist paints his soul on canvas!"
Contest closes at my discretion. No need for reservations. There is no limit on the number of entries. However, only one entry per poet. Post it when you're done! It will be open at least for two weeks. After that, it is anyone's guess.
HMs will be added accordingly and due to the number of entries. As of 18 FEB 2008, just the three trophies. Make them where I want to add HMs.
DISCLAIMER: I have never experienced it here at AP, but I have been spending a great deal at SW and in my contests I'm hosting there, a couple of entries have managed to work there way out of their respective contests. I have never DQ'd anyone in my life from one of my contests even if they have not followed the rules. I would even make a comment on their entry. It just wouldn't be considered for any prizes, but should be understood if the rules were not followed. If your entry happens to work its' way out, don't fret. I will work with you as to get it back in as long as I have made a comment on it before it's departure. I truly don't think it will be a problem here at AP like it was at SW.
PS: I have at least five open contests at SW at the time of posting this contest (most of them very easy by the way)!
NOTE: Will be back late today (30 APR 08) to finish judging this contest unless the AP Staff decides the site will crash and burn in digital hell, then of course they will judge it in a matter of minutes!

Hubby you were wrong. You can go deep and great. Trust me, I know.

All I can say is thank you, but I can never see myself that way as I can't see myself in another way which I'm not telling here. A couple of ladies have made me blush by saying it to me already and you know I don't usually blush!
