Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on March 4
- Rewards: Gold: 600, Silver: 300, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 3 people
- Final notes: Well done to all of you! We applied a much higher standard in picking our finallists this time as all of you would have been made it under the old rules. We decided we wanted six extra entrants for the last contest so we have given three HMs here, all those of you with cups here now have two and so you qualify, we will adjust the list shortly.
Never Fall in love, thinks the entry is rubbish, that's the only mistake, terrific!
Billbard's Rondelet, so small so well formed!
Perfect word, very brave to keep repeating "word" but the rest of the poem is excellent and the repetition just worked!
Melphleg also very brave, we are both highly unreligious and find it difficult to work with such poems as it is so easy to offend. No danger here because the poem speaks for itself.
Mommyof2 and Mirthryl also impressed us a lot.
Sorry that the other two fianllists missed out, but we have to judge or what is the point.
Congratulations and thanks to all, we will be back later in the year!

Ok so many lists..lol. You don't enter if your in the second list do you? I have been following all these, even if I didn't enter them all...There was one I didn't do if I remember rightly. But I certainly enjoyed the ones I did enter, was a fab idea

The second list will be invited into the next contest already. This is about finding someone to join them.
Sue and I are delighted you enjoyed the contests, we both did and learned such an enormous amount. When I've earned another 20,000 or so points we will start again. This has rather burned through the reserves!

Are you accepting donations? I have a ridiculous amount of points at the moment so I'd be more than happy to donate a few thousand!

Will this still be judged?
-
-
definitely
But it may not be hard! -
-
I guess not - I've been apathetic lately
If I get something written, I will enter by tomorrow morning [reaching midnight now] -

Same time here, best time to write!

It is, not on everyday though - as I said, I'll try
I've not enough sleep either, but thanks

not enough
There are not enough entries to make this a fair contest. May I suggest you reopen and send an IM personal invite to the other poets. Thanks. -
wow. ...
for that rubbish write?
Thank you - I am simply honored F
-
-
Far from a rubbish write!
Maybe you need to switch off and just write more often, it is excellent!

Hi Jeff and Sue, just a quick thanks for awarding me a HM in this competition. I look forward to writing for the future contest.
