  • Contest was judged on February 20, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 1100, Silver: 600, Bronze: 350, Honorable mention: 8 people
  • Final notes:
This was just the most intense contest I have had so far... I sruggled to go deeper and understand each poem on another level, and I think I made more discoveries about my self than anything... Everyone like pretty words... But I discovered sometimes the words that make you think (real hard) take you to the most delightful places! Congratulations to all of you and the GOLD TROPHY owes me a bottle of Exedrine EXTRA STRENGTH! (Just kidding!!!) Whew! Just when I thought I was ready to host another contest... I think I'm going to give it a rest... at least until I recover!!! That or enlist an accomplice... just in case I pass out... Have a great day!!! Ithica

She looks young, confused and conflicted; today Bourguereau would be carted off to jail for trying to express this time in life in this manner.
