Hi from me masterblaster and capricornpoet, this
is a contest for 2 types of sonnets only.

1, Shakespearean sonnet

2. A sonnet written in blank verse (iambic pentameter please)

3.Any subject

4. standard rules

There are some great sonneteers on AP I hope we see them in this contest.



UPDATE/ THERE ARE SO MANY GOOD SONNETS IN THIS CONTEST THAT WE HAVE DECIDED TO DIVIDE THIS CONTEST INTO 4 PARTS, SO THERE WILL BE 4 GOLDS, SILVER, BRONZE.

    Great I've bookmarked,
    question though, do you want two seperat poems,
    or one or the other, and if two on the same poem or two seperate ones? I love entering these contests for I tend to learn much more...

      Either blank verse sonnet in iambic pentameter or Shakespearean sonnet ..hope this helps.

          Dear sonneteers, please be patient with me, I will make some mistakes and it is my first real judging of sonnets...let the pebbles come... My associate in this contest is being patient and not to blame with letting me learning...
          through mistakes , but I am learning...
