Brave New World

This week I read "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley (Unfortunately it was a German translation because libraries don't have that many English books over here...)

Anyways, I thought I'd host a contest dealing with that book.

I want your thoughts, impressions, whatever...

No rules this time.
Just use your brain.

You can enter as many times as you like.

Good luck!
Annie

    I HATE this book
I had to read it in summer (in Mexico, on the beach ) for grade 10 and it was awful. First chance I got, I threw it out.
But good luck with your contest! ♥

      I loooove it...
Mein Vater fragte mich, ob wir denn endlich mal was Ordentliches in der Schule lesen (man kann ja noch Träume haben...), aber ich musste ihn enttäuschen: Ich hab's freiwillig gelesen.

Ah, Huxley's book of fame. I shall have to think of this. Read it awhile back and thought it was great.

Yep....my thoughts on BNW are slightly skewed. 1984, by George Orwell however, I really liked.

I'm going to read that one as soon as I get my hands on it... It's a pity I don't have enough money to buy all the books I'd like to read... So I have to wait until I have the chance to get it from the library...

    LOVED that book.
Would have to re-read it to give any cognitive thoughts on it, though...
