Perfection!

What is your idea of perfection?

The perfect man/woman...

The perfect moment...

Perfect poem...

Whatever...

RULES:

If it sucks don't bother posting it.

It's my contest and I'll do whatever I want.

Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on February 22
  • Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 200, Bronze: 100, Honorable mention: 5 people
  • Final notes:
Thanks everyone for a most enjoyable morning of reading. The winners were hard to choose, as there were many deserving entries.

The Composer - This was full of philosophy and also a very well crafted form poem. I happen to agree with this philosophy, however, this is a poetry contest and a well crafted sonnet with something to say will always get my attention.

Coming Forever - Just the title gets points for perfection. This was very deep and well crafted. I not only understood the concepts, but felt them.

He's a Perfect Roach - I want to say that it was a toss-up for third between this, which is playful, well written and deeper than it first may appear, and Distinguished Poets - a wonderful villanelle. In the end, I thought they were about equal, but He's a Perfect Roach has humor, and that tipped the scales.

This Gift and Perfection were both very well written and deserved to be recognized. I loved some of the others, but had to make a judgement, so I did. Thanks to everyone for entering.
