My fiancee and I are expecting a child this year,Our first together.The due date is July 11. We have had our first ultrasound and she??? seems very healthy, kicking and all.The nurse who did the ultrasound said she looked like a kidney bean.
We don't know what the sex is yet, but we are going to find out soon.
Now here is your mission...should you choose to accept it.
I will start with options(since eveyone seems to love em)
1. We have names picked out for either a boy or a girl.Adrianna Eva Marie George- for a girl and
Bret Jason Owen George- for a boy(named after Bret and Owen Hart).Please write a ryhming poem dedicated to a newborn Adrianna or Bret.
2. An acrostic using their full names.
3. I am experimenting with Haiku.I would love to read a Haiku that captures the essence of a newborn.( Good luck with this one)
4. My favourite type of poem is a sonnet.If you can impress me with a sonnet about babies or parenthood( this is not either of our first times having children)
than you stand a good chance of winning.
5. I'm not a fan of free verse or prose, however, I am very open minded and can be swayed by the right poem.
6. I am a musician, so write your best song about a child or the love of a parent.I will be extra critical of this option.
