And right on for your response to the above (or below?) comments. -

i am a bit of a tolkien nerd (and i think you mentioned to me once that you were a tolkien fan as well, plus i just watched the whole trilogy this past week, teehee).
-
-
how's this for tolkien nerd. i have two swords, both extended and none extended versions of all three movies, a book of newspaper clippings and anything else i could past in, a box of random memorabilia, all the books, posters, figurines, etc.
(not to mention on a road trip once to kill time i recited the entire movie (fotr) with my husband. -
-
!!!!!
oh, eru, you're nerdy. i love it.
my parents won't let me have the swords, mainly because i know how to use them, lol. i'm actually planning to write my dissertation on tolkien, and when one of my professors told me about next semester's tolkien course after class a few months back... well, i shrieked so loudly i think everyone on campus must've heard me.
have you read the history of middle earth books and the silmarillion? the silm should so be a movie. -
-
Dang! That's awesome... good luck with that. I did an essay on Tolkien when I was in high school.
I have read the History of Middle Earth but never The Silmarillion... I tried but ... ugh... I'm more into hobbits than elves. -
-
the silm's still pretty good! then again, i love numenoreans and the noldor.

"the children of hurin" is based on one tale from the silm... have you read it? it's good, but not quite up to par with the original.

This is a very very painful thing to write about not one mother will not be crying will you two drop the elves and hobbits!!
-
-
Last I checked, discussing literature and hobbits wasn't dead baby jokes. And this is my contest, you do well to remember that you shouldn't hassle the judge.
-
maybe the judge should lighten up and stop taking her self so seriously..as option #1 or option #2 have your first baby or first adoption before you do this again. I am out of here Tajara =)don't worry I know I know it was my choice to enter or not and it is your contest.

This is heart wrenching, I realized that if she had lived she would be just a bit older than I am now.

Yes it is very sad.
