Okay, I've always wanted to do one of these anything contests so here it goes...
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING OR YOU WILL BE DQ-ED!!!!!!!!!!!
Things you should know/rules:
1. Please enter the BEST poem you've ever written.
2. I have the right to DQ ANY entry I do not like. I've never done this in a contest before, but since this is an anything contest, I will be VERY picky!
3. Only one entry per person.
4. No freeverse... I just don't like it.
5. I will comment on all the entries I don't DQ.
6. Must be between 15 and 40 lines.
7. Make it readable.
8. No short stories, it must be in POEM form.
WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR:
1. IMAGERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. METAPHORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3. and no amateur rhyming!
4. If it's a sad poem, nothing whiny...
