Please look carefully at the prompt picture.
Then write me a poem, based on what you see, and feel, and think, about it.
Any style, any length, rhyming or not, it's up to you.
Please, no prose or pre-writes.
After the previous five rounds, we have a story happening. It goes "As the sun rises, life quickens. The green fuse curls, unfurls, climbs high to the sky to flower and die..."
Cut to Round 6. Have fun.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on January 19, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 300, Silver: 150, Bronze: 50, Honorable mention: 3 people
- Final notes: Thank you again for your work in looking, thinking and writing. The final round, as the winner states, shows the setting sun. The completed poem that goes with the windows reads, in total,
As the sun rises, life quickens.
The green fuse curls, unfurls,
climbs high for the sky
to flower and die
returns to earth
for rebirth
as the sun rises
(and so on) it ties back into itself, showing the cycle of life.
I had thought that this cycle of windows was complete, but during the rounds became aware that between sunset and sunrise there are further life processes, what happens to the soul during the time between death and rebirth.
So maybe, I'll be back with more !
