I am very much in love at the moment.
However, as happy as I am in my relationship, I can't seem to express it in poetry.
I can't get out more than a few lines here and there.
What I am looking for in this contest is some inspiration.
I would like you to choose from the options below and pen me something amazing.
You can use the lines as they are in your poem, write a variation, or simply take inspiration from them.
OPTION (1)
"There's once in a lifetime and once in a while, and the difference between them is a million miles."
OPTION (2)
"Stars don't fall; they plummet, because they are simply tired of being wished upon."
OPTION (3)
"If I died tomorrow, knowing I would cause you pain today, would you still love me?"
OPTION (4)
"My greatest hopes and fears are centered around you."
OPTION (5)
"The butterflies in my stomach, they could bring me to my knees."
OPTION (6)
"Love can't change what's wrong in the world. But it's a start."
OPTION (7)
"You see things; and you say, 'Why?' But I dream things that never were; and I say, 'Why not?' "
Essentially, I am looking for love poems. =]
But. If you can write well on another topic using this inspiration, then by all means, go ahead. =]
RULES
- I am a stickler for grammar, please use spell check.

- Enter as many times as you like.
- Please no erotica, dirty pretty, or crazy typing.

I'll keep this contest open for as long as it takes to find the pieces I want to give my points to =]

You know option 2 i've used that in my poem from a long time ago, the only difference it was "stars don't fall, they crash because they are tired of being wished upon" not as proper.

Ah, I feel your pain. As much love as I am in, I cannot seem to write anything but emo love. And it kindof freaks him out... I'll see what I can do.
