I'm reminded of the mid 1800's song, "Listen To The Mockingbird." The lyrics are simple, shopworn, melodramatic lines but the music is entertaining.

Now that I think of it, there have been several songs with that subject...but I'll take Harper Lee's novel, "To Kill A Mockingbird." Well, that is after my own fabulous mockingbird haiku of course.
