Contest is Over

  • Contest was judged on February 2, 2008
  • Rewards: Gold: 1000, Silver: 500, Bronze: 200, Honorable mention: 3 people
  • Final notes:
I am actually quite disappointed in that no one picked some of the other titles/songs here. All of them have very deep meaning.

I am however impressed at the quality of entries here. this was hard to judge so I had brought in a dear friend. Mr. Errant Panther, and he helped me pick the best ones. In the end we had 3 major winners and 3 HM's. I hope that if you did not already, you will read the entries here.. some of them brought me to tears. Thank you to all those who entered and good luck in all you do!

Also.. if I missed commenting on your entry.. please let me know.. I am pretty sure I commented all of them.. but we all make mistakes sometimes.

    Love,
    ~Krys~

Damn Krystal, it's a shame I'll miss this contest because of going on vacation - "Adia" is one of the most beautiful songs I've heard. I will bookmark so I can check out the entries on my return and maybe pen something from it then for you. Great concept, I am sure it will inspire many lovely poems.

I remember my senior year of high school they handed out these papers... the class had to take a pole on which song they thought would be the best graduation song... I Will Remember You was on it... and a few really stupid ones. Of course, I grew up with that song, always listening and loving it... and I remember thinking, it would be so perfect to end my school year with that one. So I voted for Sarah! When the time came, it won and I BALLED when three girls sang it at our graduation.
