I believe that it is impossible to truly describe the feeling of absolute depression. For option 1, I would like you to prove me wrong. Explain the feeling of wanting to curl up on the ground and never get up again.
I believe that you must love someone even if they hurt you to the point of breaking. For option 2, tell me why you agree/disagree. Explain pain with love, or pain without.
I believe that nothing is truly original anymore. All things are a cliche because someone has already used or created them. For all options, you must prove me wrong, but for this one (3) especially. Give me something so unique, it changes my opinion of poetry.
I believe that no person is empty enough to make it through life without crying. You cannot try to prove me wrong here, you would be lying if you did. Instead, make me cry. Whether through a personal experience or otherwise, make me cry. This is your fourth option.
I believe that those who do not know themselves are lost. I've never felt as lost as I am now. I don't care how, but help me figure out who I am. We'll call this one option 5.
Those are your options. I am allowing PWs for two reasons: 1) Some people have the bad habit of writing a poem and putting it online only to find that it was a perfect match for a non-prewrite contest. 2) It attracts more people to the contest.
All entries must have the option # in them.
No PWs for option 3.
Rules. Those which control our lives and in some cases save them.
1) No swearing. It's unnecessary and rude.
2) No "My boy/girlfriend dumped me wah wah wah."
3) No erotica. It wouldn't fit any of the options, therefore it is also unnecessary.
4) Do not even consider bashing someone else's work. I am the only judge here.
5) Do not type like an idiot just because you have the mental capacity to. Save it for your email, because it has no place in poetry.
6) Please put, "I have read the rules, understand, and agree to abide by them." in your notes. No one enjoys that part, but in some cases it is needed.
I look forward to your entries.

Contest is Over
- Contest was judged on January 30, 2008
- Rewards: Gold: 400
- Final notes: Grrr! So many of you need to learn how to read...rules anyway...Yes, it's a stupid rule to put a silly phrase into a box. However, it's one of MY rules. Therefore, you no put it in, I no put in finalists!
This one was difficult to judge. (expecially when *someone* was very un-anomynous! *cough* Chey *cough*. Wanted to put you in finalists....but you broke the ruleses...
Alright, done ranting...(besides, it's early and I need to get ready for school!)

Ah, okay. I will remove my entry then. I didn't see the "No prewrites for option 3." Good contest, though.
